OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our CCWH healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in a private practice setting. Our office specializes in urogynecology. This position requires a strong foundation in clinical skills, including triage, treatment plan/discharge planning, and the ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment. Ideal candidate has more than 5 years’ experience. This position is full time and flexible.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans based on clinical findings.
• Perform diagnostic procedures, including phlebotomy and other necessary tests.
• Manage patient care across various settings, ensuring continuity of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and preventive care strategies.
• Document patient interactions accurately using ICD-10 coding for billing and record-keeping purposes.
• Participate in triage processes to prioritize patient needs effectively.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field from an accredited program.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) and state licensure to practice.
• 5 years’ experience or more required.
• Conduct patient assessments, physical examinations, and develop treatment plans
• Experience in urology or gynecology a plus but not required.
• Document all care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 – $50.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
