Full Job Description
North Metropolitan Radiology Associates, LLP is a private practice group providing coverage for Northside Hospital Gwinnett and Northside Hospital Duluth. We are currently looking for a part-time or full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our well-established team of over 30 radiologists and 4PAs.
Educational Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program
- National certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Licensed as appropriate in the state of Georgia
- BLS or ACLS
- Interventional Radiology or comparable invasive procedure experience is preferred but not necessary
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform daily rounds on inpatients and dictate notes
- Review daily cases with Interventional Radiologist
- Perform focused history and physical examination and consent for procedures
- Perform minimally invasive image guided procedures with appropriate proctoring and credentialing. Procedures may include, but not limited to, vascular access, thoracentesis, paracentesis, lumbar puncture, arthrograms, chest tubes, biopsies and other procedures based on experience and additional need.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and other treatment modalities within the scope of practice
General Requirements:
- Knowledge of professional medical practice, patient care and patient evaluation
- Compliance with HIPPA mandates
- Demonstrates positive interpersonal communication with referring physicians, co-workers, hospital staff, patients, family members, and other visitors
- Demonstrates personal commitment to staying current and expanding knowledge/skill.
- Ability to work in ever-changing environment and work as a team-player

Pay: $100,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
