Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgeon to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in surgical procedures and a strong commitment to patient care. This role requires proficiency in various surgical techniques, including but not limited to gastric lavage and botulinum toxin treatment. The Surgeon will work in a hospital setting, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive medical-surgical care.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative care for patients.
- Administer medications as required, ensuring proper dosage and monitoring for side effects.
- Utilize neonatal ventilators when necessary for pediatric patients.
- Engage in health coaching to educate patients on post-surgical recovery and lifestyle changes.
- Maintain accurate data management of patient records and surgical outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal medicine specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on the latest surgical techniques and advancements.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in surgery or relevant specialty.
- Proven experience in a hospital environment, particularly in medical-surgical settings.
- Strong knowledge of medication administration protocols and health coaching practices.
- Familiarity with neonatal ventilator operation is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Strong analytical skills for effective data management and patient assessment.
