Job description: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Position:
● Full time or Part time
● Up to 5 days a week.
Required: great personality, enthusiastic with patient’s care
Our practice provides medical care to patients in Primary Care/Urgent Care. You will be
an active member of the healthcare team
Primary Responsibilities:
● Provide personalized, quality and comprehensive medical care
● Complete accurate and timely documentation in patient records
● Consult with physicians, specialists, of other health care professional as needed
● Examine patients and their medical records on admission
● Order study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays, EKG’s etc.)
● Diagnose health conditions and illnesses
● Propose treatments for acute and chronic health conditions
● Prescribe medications
● Maintain accurate records and schedules
● Inform patients about their health conditions
● Oversee patients’ overall health
● Promote good health practices
● Maintenance of credentials essential for practice, to include licensure,
certification and CME
Our ideal candidate:
● Experience as Mid Level in a Outpatient clinic
● Expertise in primary care, acute care and chronic care practices
● Perform minor procedures (we are willing to train)
● Excellent communication skills
● Strong ethics
● Team spirit with a positive attitude
● Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience
● Valid Mid Level license
● Experience with the geriatrics population is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications Education Required: Graduation from an accredited Nurse
Practitioner (ARNP) or Physician Assistant School
License/Registration/Certification Required: ActiveTexas State licensed as an NP or
PA, DEA license
