Summary:
GOH Medical is seeking to employ one full time or two half time family nurse practitioners for an opportunity to provide comprehensive family medicine to a group of employees at a major DFW employer in Irving TX. Seeing 10 – 20 employed, insured patients who can see you as much as needed without cost or access issues.
This clinic is what most of us dreamed about when we went into family medicine- long term, caring, supportive, proactive trusting relationships with patients without the frustration of having to make people come to the office, billing/collecting, insurance audits, pre-authorizations, limitations on time.
We manage common chronic, acute, and preventive exams with support from dietitians, social workers, specialists, and pharmacists are provided to the patients we serve.

Responsibilities include:
- Practicing proactive primary care working in a team to ensure every patient has their health and well-being needs met.
- An integrative medicine approach (Integrative medicine is an approach to care that puts the patient at the center and addresses the full range of physical, emotional, mental, social, spiritual, and environmental influences that affect a person’s health.)
- Participating in call coverage and supporting the other clinic staff and patients to ensure continuity of care
- Provide oversight and run onsite CLIA waived tests
- Assist in developing and implementing onsite educational programs based on sites medical dynamics (i.e., obesity, smoking cessation, etc.)
- Assist in the development of appropriate treatment protocols based on Evidence Based Medicine when applicable.
- Organize and lead group office visits, present and answer questions regarding various health related topics to small groups of employees
- Maintain confidentiality, diplomacy, and discretion in dealings with staff, patients, and other clients, in compliance with HIPAA, OSHA and all CLIA standards.
- Other duties as assigned in support of Chief Medical Officer role
- Complying with state, national, and applicable compliance and other guidelines; Using current evidence-based practice guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Successful candidate will be a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Knowledge of Integrative Medicine (other evidence-based modalities that consider the whole person in the care – lifestyle, stress management, or other ways to support health and well-being), in addition to traditional allopathic (pills, procedures, and surgeries) care
- Ability to work in a team environment from a positive non-critical defensive mindset and willingness to innovate
- Ability to work independently with small support staff and MD available by phone
- Practice style displays knowledge and implementation of current clinical practice guidelines
- Experience with AthenaHealth or similar EMR preferred
- Current applicable Texas license
- Current national applicable certification and maintain through CME
- Current DEA & DPS numbers

Physical Requirements:
Daily duties of this position require the ability to spend time standing and the ability to physically assist patients. This position also requires the ability to maintain and set up medical equipment and record data into computers or patient charts.
- Strength: Sufficient to assist with lifting and transferring a patient and perform CPR.
- Mobility: Sufficient mobility to bend, stoop, and bend down to the floor; ability to move around rapidly; and to move in small, confined areas.
- Hearing: Sufficient to hear through the stethoscope to discriminate sounds; to hear alarms on equipment and emergency signals.
- Vision: Sufficient to make physical assessments of patients and equipment.
- Communication: Able to communicate in both verbal and written formats; and interact with clients, staff, and supervisors.

Compensation: $60K – $130K depending on part time or full time, previous experience, leadership, clinical, and population health skills.
