Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) Role Scope (English and Spanish speaking preferred) **Job Opportunity: Cardiac Electrophysiology ARNP / Physician Assistant** HEART RHYTHM SOLUTIONS is looking for an experienced **Cardiac Electrophysiology ARNP or Physician Assistant** to deliver specialized care to patients with complex arrhythmias. This role is ideal for a dedicated provider who thrives in a high-autonomy environment and is eager to expand expertise in electrophysiology. **Spanish and English speakers are preferred** to better serve our diverse patient population. **Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage all aspects of complex arrhythmia care for admitted patients, including developing personalized treatment plans, completing H&P assessments, and providing comprehensive discharge instructions.
  • Coordinate hospital follow-ups to ensure continuity of care post-discharge.
  • Exhibit a high level of autonomy in patient care and clinical decision-making.
  • Maintain proficiency in documentation across multiple EMR platforms, including Cerner, Epic, Meditech, and eClinicalWorks.
  • Commit to professional growth by pursuing certification in cardiac device management and expanding knowledge within the electrophysiology field.

**Qualifications:**

  • Current licensure as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in FL
  • Demonstrated experience in cardiology, with a focus on electrophysiology preferred.
  • Strong communication and patient education skills, with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
  • Ability to manage complex patient cases independently while effectively collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency across multiple EMR systems and commitment to accurate, thorough documentation.
  • **Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus**.

Schedule: Monday through Friday with call every OTHER weekend ending with the following FRI OFF. Overnight call the week leading up to weekend call which involves fielding calls from service and hospital nursing staff (average of 10 phone calls/ night, Mon-Thurs). **This position requires travel between hospital in Broward and Miami – Dade counties Memorial West, Memorial Pembroke, Memorial Miramar, Florida Medical Center, Westside Regional, Jackson North, and University Hospital. Qualifications: Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner Master’s program
  • Licensed, as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) in the state of FloridaCertification or eligible to be certified as a Physician Assistant or National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (APRN)
  • Cardiology experience preferred
  • Electrophysiology experience a plus
  • Cardiac device management experience highly preferred
