Family Practice Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners needed for 2 Full-Time outpatient clinic positions just outside New Britain, Connecticut. Prior Family Practice NP / PA experience is required (no new grads at this time). This is an FQHC Opportunity. Hiring as of 12/12/2024.
Family Practice Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Roles | Responsibilities:
- Provide Family Practice clinical services to patients at one site in the New Britain, Connecticut area.
- Coordinate with other clinical (including Physician Assistants / Nurse Practitioners) and non-clinical staff to provide optimal patient outcomes.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions for Family Practice patients.
- Prescribe medication for patients as required or directed.
- Coordinate with specialists as needed.
- Provide education to patients and family members when necessary.
- Medical Spanish is a plus.
Days | Hours | Compensation | Benefits:
- Full-time = 40hrs/week
- Administrative / Non-Clinical time provided
- Some weekend hours may be required
- Some preferred schedules will be considered
- Very minimal call – no physical call
