Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including clinics, urgent care, and hospital environments. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for assessing patient needs, diagnosing conditions, and implementing treatment plans while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments of patients.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in a clinical setting.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging studies.
- Administer medications and provide patient education on treatment plans.
- Monitor vital signs and manage patients in urgent care or emergency situations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to develop patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with ICD-10 coding standards.
- Provide guidance on preventive health measures and lifestyle modifications.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the clinic or hospital setting.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or hospital medicine is preferred.
- Proficiency in performing cardiac catheterization procedures is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of vital signs assessment and medication administration protocols.
- Familiarity with medical office operations and clinic workflows is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively while providing compassionate patient care.

Pay: $139,522.00 – $146,484.00 per year
