Full Job Description
Duties:
As a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant at Premier House Calls, you will be responsible for providing exceptional in-home primary care to home-bound patients. Your duties will include:
- Performing diagnostic tests and interpreting results
- Prescribing medications and other treatments as needed.
- Administering immunizations and other preventative care measures.
- Providing education to patients and their families about health conditions and treatment options.
- Utilizing electronic medical record systems (EMR).
- Performing procedures such as wound debridement, joint injections, and wound care.
- Coordinating care with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists.
- Ordering durable medical equipment (DME) for patients as needed.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited program.
- Current certification as a nurse practitioner in the state of practice.
- Experience working with home-bound patients and/or geriatric patients
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- New graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Pay: $100.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
