OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our treatment team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care outpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment center. This position requires a strong commitment to patient assessment, treatment planning, and collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical histories.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with acute pain management needs.
- Manage mental health and substance abuse patients by addressing their unique health concerns and coordinating care.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams in inpatient settings to deliver comprehensive care.
- Utilize telehealth technology to provide remote consultations and follow-up care for patients.
ExperienceCandidates should possess the following experience or skills:
- Previous experience in a medical office environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with acute pain management techniques without use of narcotics.
- Experience working with mental health and substance abuse populations.
- Proficient in conducting patient assessments and managing vital signs.
- Comfortable utilizing telehealth platforms for patient care.
