• Join our close-knit team of 12 physicians and two advanced practice providers (APPs) at St. Joseph Hospital, with the support of a clinical performance registered nurse and a hospitalist coordinator.
• We have excellent relationships with other departments in the hospital, supporting a smooth transition of care for all patients
• We enjoy being involved in various committees and interest groups, and the hospital is grateful for our expertise within these groups

Qualifications:

• Board-certified/eligible physician assistant.
• Previous experience working as a hospitalist APP preferred.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Practice in the Heart of the Community

Flexible Scheduling:

• Our APPs focus on admissions during the swing shift and provider cross-coverage during the night shift. Our team never works alone
• The schedule is very predictable, which allows for ease in work-life balance. Our team supports each other with coverage when one of us wishes to have time off

Key Responsibilities:

• We are looking for a physician assistant who enjoys working with an acute adult population
• We use EPIC, with access to our internal informatics platform
