Overview:Excellent opportunity for an individual looking to work with a busy, well established and prestigious ENT practice specializing in sinus, allergy, snoring and sleep located in the Fort Lauderdale and Plantation area. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with the doctor and other physician assistants to provide high-quality patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional healthcare services.
Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans- Assists the supervising physician in the clinic and office-based surgical procedures- Order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging studies- Prescribe medications and monitor patient responses
-Allergy testing and treatment
-Rendering and interpreting in-office CT scans- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems- Adhere to professional standards, ethical guidelines, and legal regulations
Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program and authorized by the state of Florida to practice medicine with the supervision of a licensed physician.
- One to two years of experience as a Physician Assistant is preferred, however a motivated new graduate will be considered.
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with physician, office staff, patients and their families.
- Skill in evaluating and revising care plan based on patient changes.
- Participate with on-call day duties including holidays and weekends.
- BLS and ACLS
- Bilingual-English & Spanish
- In addition, this individual should be self-motivated, comfortable working independently, detail-oriented, and interested in interacting with patients and providing high quality care.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
