Full Job Description
We are a busy, Surgeon-owned, cosmetic Plastic Surgery practice in McLean, VA, seeking a skilled and passionate Dermatology Physician Assistant with expertise in aesthetic injections to join our dynamic team. To establish a dermatology practice, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and enhancing the overall patient experience.
The ideal candidate will have sound medical decision-making skills, a high level of dermatology knowledge, a keen ability to provide diagnoses and differential diagnoses, and treatment plans.
At least three (3) years practical dermatology experience in performing excisions, ED&C, cryotherapy, acne management, Accutane, intralesional injections, shave, and punch biopsies.
The right person will also possess at least one to two (1-2) years aesthetic neurotoxin and dermal filler experience. Must have a keen ability to perform consultative facial assessments and thoughtful recommendations for retail skincare that convert to sales.
You must be motivated and driven to create your own business within our business, curious and detail oriented, can work independently under guidance of supervising physician with high medical and aesthetic standards, positive and enthusiastic, love to learn and always be perfecting your craft.
Responsibilities
Perform aesthetic injections, including but not limited to Botox and dermal fillers.
Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients on skincare routines and post-treatment care.
Recommend other available aesthetic treatments as deemed appropriate.
Maintain timely and accurate patient records.
Qualifications
Valid Physician Assistant license in Virginia.
Board certification.
Proven experience in aesthetic injections.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
