Job Title: PA-C – Gastroenterology
Location: Mountain View, CA

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant to join our highly regarded Gastroenterology practice. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work collaboratively with physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with gastrointestinal and liver conditions. Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests, to evaluate gastrointestinal health.
Collaborate with the supervising Gastroenterologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with digestive disorders.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as endoscopies, colonoscopies, and imaging studies to aid in the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal and liver conditions.
Educate patients on their gastrointestinal conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications to promote optimal health.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting all assessments, interventions, and communications.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions between different phases of treatment.
Stay current with advancements in Gastroenterology and participate in ongoing education to enhance skills and knowledge.
Adhere to all relevant medical and ethical standards, including compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Previous experience in Gastroenterology is highly preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented healthcare environment.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems (Epic proficiency a plus).
Willingness to participate in continuing education and professional development.
