Full Job Description
Private Neurology group in Norfolk, VA is searching for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or a Physician Assistant with a special interest in general neurology and epilepsy treatment.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Review patient records and compile a complete health history
- Perform comprehensive neurological examinations
- Formulate common neurological diagnosis
- Plan and initiate a therapeutic regimen
- Review reports/data and utilize the information in the delivery of quality, cost effective health care services
Education & Experience:
- Current valid state medical license
- 1+ years of experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certified, Advanced Life Support (ALS) preferred
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to work with others and demonstrate leadership qualities
