Full Job Description

North Carolina Neuropsychiatry is a well-established private practice with offices in Chapel Hill, Charlotte, Apex and Raleigh, NC. We are seeking a full-time Physician’s Assistant or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to operate in our Chapel Hill location. Our practice includes physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and technicians as part of the patient care team.

Our patient population consists of children and adults in an outpatient setting seen for neuropsychiatric evaluations and medication management. We are not affiliated with any hospital and do not do any inpatient or emergency room coverage. Our unique evaluation process and popularity with high-level referral agents allow us to take all third-party payers as well as Medicare and Medicaid.

This is a salaried position, starting range is dependent on relevant experience and qualifications.

Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5pm; Fridays 8:30am-4pm

On-Call Phone: There is a Medicaid requirement for the practice to be available by phone after hours and weekends in the event a patient has an emergency. Our non-physician providers share a cell phone and are on monthly rotation for outpatient on-call duties.

Excellent benefits package, including paid health, dental, vision, life insurance, professional liability insurance and yearly CEU allowance.
