SUMMARY:
We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner/Physicians Assistant for a hybrid position in Gastroenterology Consultation Services and some Aesthetic Medicine. Experience preferred, however a highly motivated new grad may be considered.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Would have attended an accredited Nurse Practitioner school either Masters or Doctorate level or Accredited Physician’s Assistant school.
- Board Certified
- ACLS/BLS certified
- DEA license
- California NP license/PA license
- Proficient in field of gastroenterology/hepatology preferred
- Proficient in the field of Aesthetics (Botox, fillers etc).
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- M-F 8am-5pm (may be variable). This is a full time position. The Nurse Practitioner/PA will be responsible for doing consultations, follow ups, taking patient calls, patient education, medication refills, prior authorizations for medications, doing aesthetic medicine as needed with botox and fillers. The provider will be given an orientation, however, they will be ultimately responsible for being knowledgeable and competent in the field of gastroenterology/hepatology and aesthetic medicine. The provider should be self motivated and independent and be ready to read articles on the subject matter, using up-to date or text books provided by the overseeing physician in order to further their knowledge to provide efficient care to the patients. This is a prime opportunity to work in a private practice environment for a hybrid position in the GI outpatient setting and aesthetics.
