Urology Associates (UA) in Nashville, TN, is seeking a self-motivated, positive, friendly face to join our Providers as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant.
This is a hospital-based position at our Charlotte Avenue office in Downtown Nashville, where the APP rounds on urology consults or urology post-op patients at two nearby hospitals, taking first call before the physician is contacted. This is a regular Monday – Friday position between the hours of (roughly) 6:30 am – 4:00 pm. Interested candidates for this position should be able to provide patient care, including patient assessment, review of systems, history and physical, evaluating and ordering diagnostic testing, considering and prescribing appropriate medications, and recommending follow-up care and subsequent visits.
Qualifications:
- TN RN & NP License required or PA License required
- BLS/ACLS Certified
- Experience in Urology is strongly preferred (but not required)
Night and weekend call is NOT part of these positions. Our offices are open five days per week, from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm. In addition to the Benefits Package below, APPs receive PTO for CMEs and a CME budget. They are also eligible for Quarterly Bonuses based on Productivity.
