ZoomCare is seeking an Emergency Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our 9 room facility staffed by the nicest people you will ever work with!
The Emergency Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is responsible for delivering top-notch advanced clinical care and superior customer service through the ZoomCare care model. This includes delivering a consistent and high quality ZoomCare experience to all patients using ZoomCare tools and methodologies.
SCHEDULE

(3) 12 hour shifts a week, 10am – 10pm.

Rotating weekly schedule of: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday / Saturday, Sunday, Monday

COMPENSATION
-
Annual Salary of $148,000 – $164,000 DOE plus bonus potential and shift pay. (Hours worked after 6pm you will earn additional compensation on top of your base salary.)

Excellent clinician and master of ZoomCare everyday scope of episodic care in a quick-paced, focused environment (e.g., sinusitis, UTI, pneumonia).

Perform with expertise everyday procedures (eg: laceration repair, incision and drainage, fracture and joint reduction, wound repair, cardioversion, pediatric procedures, foreign body removal and procedural sedation).

Master all technical tools and “ZoomTheater” methods, including AthenaOne, instant messaging platform, onsite lab tests, and onsite pharmacy.

Deliver a consistent and high quality ZoomCare experience to all patients using ZoomCare tools and methodologies.

Provide a complete visit, in which labs and prescriptions are provided on-site (when medically appropriate) in a one-stop experience for the patient.

Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues about clinical diagnosis, treatment and disposition planning, prices, insurance coverage basics, and the price impact of adding lab tests or selecting various medicines.

Complete charts on a daily basis.

Manage stable chronic illnesses (e.g., Diabetes, hypertension, asthma) alongside focused adult wellness examinations and preventive care.

Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies with certification by the NCCPA or Masters of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner, required.

ACLS and PALS certified, required.

2+ years experience in an emergency department setting preferred working with all ages

Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Able to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.

Excel in a fast-paced work environment, thriving under pressure and time constraints.

Eligible to participate in the Medicare program.

Salary Range: $148,000 – $164,000 DOE per year DOE plus bonus potential and shift pay. Salary is based on a 36 hour work week.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Frequent walking, sitting, standing, and reaching overhead.

Occasional crouching, kneeling, and bending.

Prolonged periods of standing/sitting and working at a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at time.

Ability to move to a different clinic location based on business needs.

Patient volume may often require more than your scheduled hours per week or work outside of regular business hours to complete essential duties of this job.

Fit tested for an N-95 mask, must be clean shaven where the respirator seals to the face for fit testing or when wearing the respirator.

Must wear a mask as needed.
