Base Salary – USD $75,000 to $80,000

JOB SUMMARY

  • The Advanced Practice Practitioner, Neurosurgery, is responsible for providing health care to patients in the hospital and office setting.
  • This position is responsible for working in consultation, cooperation, and coordination with a multiple supervising physician.
  • They will function according to the established standards and practices of medicine for Physician’s Assistants in the State of Texas.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum Education
  • Master’s Degree
  • Minimum Work Experience
  • Previous healthcare experience preferred
  • Required Licenses/Certifications
  • BSN, MSN, ANP, or PA licensed in the state of Texas
  • BLS
  • Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of medical practices, terminology, and reimbursement policies.
  • Thorough knowledge of patient triage, diagnosis and evidenced-based care.
  • Knowledge in overcoming barriers from diagnosis to treatment including: financial/economic, language/culture, transportation issues.
  • Skill in planning, organizing, delegating, and supervising.
  • Skill in evaluating the effectiveness of existing methods and procedures.
  • Skill in problem solving.
  • Skill in verbal and written communication.
  • Skill in speaking engagements and other activities that raise awareness to diseases and disease processes.
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply policies and procedures.
  • Ability to set priorities among multiple requests.
  • Ability to interact with patients, medical and administrative staff, and the public effectively.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
