Job Summary:
- We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team as a Part-Owner of one of our clinics located in North Hollywood. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently with remote physician or senior APP supervision/mentoring, provide high-quality patient care, demonstrate expertise in various medical procedures, and have the ability to communicate in Spanish (majority of our patient population are native Spanish speakers).

- No calls or clinical inbox/admin work (we have a separate team that takes care of incoming labs, refills, etc.)

Responsibilities
- Take and review patients’ medical histories
- Conduct physical exams
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests; such as radiology tests and blood tests
- Make diagnoses concerning a patient’s injury and illness
- Perform minor surgeries (sutures, toenail removals, wart removal, etc) and other minor invasive procedures (joint injections, pap smears, etc)
- Prescribe medications as needed
- Refer patients to outside specialist when needed
- Record patient’s progress
- Educate and counsel patients and their families about diagnosis and treatment
- Counsel patients on preventive care
- Research the latest treatments to ensure the quality of patient care
- Utilize electronic health record system for patient record management
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a physician assistant or nurse practitioner preferred
- Familiarity with medical tools and equipment
- Strong knowledge of medication administration
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in data management and electronic health records systems
- Must have excellent customer service skills and be committed to providing the highest level of customer service
- Possess a warm and caring manner
- Willing to work weekends
- Valid Physician Assistant license or Nurse Practitioner license, Valid Physician Assistant certification
- current DEA license
