Full Job Description
Essential Functions:
Assesses patient health status by:
- Obtaining a relevant health and medical history
- Performs physician examination based on age and history
- Identifies health and medical risk factors
- Diagnoses patient problems and develops a treatment plan
- Orders tests and interprets results
- Performs procedures as trained by physician such as HSG (Hysterosalpingogram) and “Trial Transfer/Mock Transfer”
- Performs pelvic exams and ultrasounds as directed by medical director
- Develops and implements a patient education plan as needed
- Provides follow up evaluation of the patient to determine effectiveness of the treatment plan
- Reassess and modifies treatment plan as necessary
- Accurately documents the care provided.
- Assists with hospital rounds as necessary.
- Assists with hospitals surgeries.
- Perform Retrievals and Transfers.

Additional Functions and Responsibilities:
- Assist in call coverage, if applicable.
- Ability to relate well with patients and staff
- Understands CPT and ICD-9 coding and provides the appropriate codes for the care provided. Understands CMS regulations for Incident to Billing
- Participates as a team member in the provision of health and medical care, interacting with professional colleagues to provide comprehensive care.
- Maintenance of current knowledge by attending continuing education programs.
- Maintains current license and ensures protocols are filed with the state as required by the State of Florida.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Ability to provide health and medical care to a variety of patients within the scope of their license.
Understands when they must consult with supervising physician.

Qualifications:
Must have Master of Physician Assistant Studies. Must hold and maintain a current Florida Physician Assistance license. Exhibits professionalism to patients and staff. Has an understanding of women’s health issues including, but not limited contraception, menopause, sexually transmitted diseases, pregnancy, management of the female urinary problems and women’s wellness. Computer skills are essential for providers utilizing Electronic Medical Records and/or E-prescribing.
HIPAA Minimum Necessary Standard: An advanced registered nurse practitioner will have full access to all medical and computer records within their division or to a division where they might be covering that division’s patients to perform his or her job. Certain Board requests may provide access to other Protected Health Information in other divisions to perform their Board request.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk and sit. Must possess usage of hands and fingers with fine motor coordination, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch. Must talk, hear, taste and smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Pay: $120,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
