Job SummaryAdvanced Dermatology Associates is seeking an experienced and compassionate Dermatology Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with our board-certified dermatologists to deliver high quality dermatologic care. This position offers a unique opportunity to impact patients’ lives positively within a dynamic, fast-paced private practice.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive dermatological evaluations, including patient history reviews, physical exams, and skin condition assessments.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for dermatologic conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancer, and aging-related concerns.
- Perform diagnostic procedures such as biopsies and other minor surgical procedures under physician supervision.
- Prescribe medications, topical treatments, and skincare regimens, prioritizing patient safety and best practices.
- Educate patients on skincare routines, sun protection, and overall skin health, empowering them to maintain optimal dermatologic wellness.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including dermatologists, nurses, and medical assistants, to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records, treatment plans, and progress notes following all protocols and regulatory standards.
- Engage in continuing education and professional development activities to remain current in dermatological care and uphold licensure and certification.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current Physician Assistant licensure in Pennsylvania, with eligibility for prescriptive authority.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in dermatology.
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in dermatologic procedures and diagnostic test interpretation.
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities for patient engagement and multidisciplinary team collaboration.
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care that promotes skin health.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Dedication to maintaining high standards of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality.
