About the PositionPeninsula Orthopedic Associates is seeking a skilled and licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with experience in orthopedics to join a dynamic, fast-paced outpatient clinic in Daly City, CA. This role offers a blend of clinical and surgical duties, with approximately 75% focused on clinical patient care and 25% as a surgical first assist each month. Candidates should feel comfortable managing a variety of orthopedic conditions, including trauma, sports medicine, and both upper and lower extremity injuries. Experience with Workers’ Compensation cases is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care in the outpatient clinic, including evaluations, follow-ups, and developing treatment plans
  • Assist in orthopedic surgeries each month
  • Provide pre- and post-operative care
  • Manage workers’ compensation cases and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide patient education, monitor progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Perform in-office treatments such as ultrasound-guided PRP injections, cortisone injections, hyaluronic acid joint injections, fracture splinting/casting, and suture/staple removal

Qualifications

  • Certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, with graduation from an AMA-approved program
  • Valid California PA or NP license
  • Experience in orthopedics, preferably in outpatient or surgical settings
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to thrive in a busy practice

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
