Work Schedule :
This is a per diem position that is temporary. You will work 10-12 hour shifts in the inpatient setting, covering weekdays, weekends, and holidays and work at University Hospital at 600 Highland Ave in Madison, WI

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work with patients with acute and chronic illnesses, specifically Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy patients in the inpatient setting.
As an Advanced Practice Provider, you’ll play an integral role in our care teams by providing high-quality and cost-effective care to patients.
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to:
- Work with patients with acute and chronic illnesses, specifically Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy patients in the inpatient setting.
- Conduct comprehensive health history and physical assessment of patients with acute health problems undergoing treatment including allogeneic and autologous stem cell transplants, CAR T-cell and bispecific T-cell engager (BiTE) therapies.
- Perform procedures required for disease evaluation and treatment such as: Punch skin biopsy, Bone marrow biopsies with/without conscious sedation, Lumbar puncture, and Intrathecal chemotherapy administration.

Education : If Nurse Practitioner: Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from accredited Nursing Program. If Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from accredited PA Program.
Work Experience :
Preferred – Two (2) years of relevant clinical experience.
Licenses and Certifications : Minimum – State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure
If Nurse Practitioner*:
- Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
- Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. These may include the following: Pediatric Acute Care and RN First Assist
If Physician Assistant*:
- Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
- Active PA board certification
All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have*: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire
