Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team on a part-time basis, working one to two days a week. The ideal candidate will excel in joint injections and collaborate closely with our chiropractor, who leads patient care. The PA will assist with pain management evaluations and provide non-surgical treatment options through injections and related therapies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pain management evaluations for personal injury patients, primarily those involved in car accidents and workers’ compensation cases.
- Perform joint injections (e.g., cortisone, hyaluronic acid) as part of the treatment plans developed in collaboration with the clinic’s chiropractor.
- Assist in non-surgical interventions aimed at reducing pain and promoting recovery.
- Collaborate with the chiropractor to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care for each patient.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records, following clinic protocols.
- Educate patients on treatment options and recovery plans.
Qualifications:
- Active Physician Assistant license in the state of Minnesota.
- Proven experience with joint injections is essential.
- Strong ability to collaborate with a team, particularly with chiropractors in a pain management setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approach.
Schedule:
- Part-time, 1-2 days a week (flexible days, will work with your schedule).
