Full Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Administer intranasal esketamine (Spravato) and monitor patients during mandated monitoring times
- Assess patients for appropriateness of Spravato treatment through patient consults
- Provide Psychiatric medication management to existing and new patients
- Work in tandem with our Psychiatrist to conduct follow ups and recommend new patients for TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation)
- Facilitate drug and pregnancy tests as necessary
- Conduct consultations for Medication Management as well as routine follow up visits
- Perform patient evaluations and assessments as necessary
- Treatment plan development
- Monitoring progress of patients
- Communication with staff, family, and patients
- Collaborate with clinical staff as well as other department leads
- Will serve as the primary onsite provider for the Clinic utilizing a clinical assistant, collaborating with in house therapists, consulting with the clinic manager, and collaborating with our psychiatrist
- Actively work with leadership to recommend new modalities, implement new programs, and provide the most innovative care available
Qualifications:
- PMHNP or Psychiatric certification preferred but will consider candidates with relevant experience
- Advanced Practice Licensure (APN) or certified Physician Assistant with an applicable state license
- Must have an active license and DEA #
- Ability to build rapport with patients and their loved ones
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership experience with emphasis on teamwork in a healthcare setting
