Job Summary

As a pivotal member of our healthcare team, a Physician Assistant (PA) in this specialty will work closely with otolaryngologists to provide comprehensive care for patients experiencing ear, nose, and throat conditions. This role combines both clinical and administrative responsibilities, offering a dynamic and fulfilling work environment for those dedicated to patient care and medical excellence. Houston ENT & Allergy Role Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including medical history and physical examinations.
  • Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of ENT-related conditions such as hearing loss, sinusitis, and throat disorders.
  • Develop and implement patient management plans, including pre- and post-operative care.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as MRIs, CT scans, and audiograms.
  • Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment plans, and postoperative care.
  • Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.

Participate in research and continuous education to stay updated on the latest ENT medical practices.

  • Prerequisites for the Role
  • A cumulative experience of at least 3 years as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
  • Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Possession of an active Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
