Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and healthcare teams.
- Perform diagnostic procedures and interpret laboratory results.
- Manage patient care in various settings, including critical care, senior care, and family planning.
- Provide triage services to prioritize patient needs effectively.
- Educate patients and families on health management, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with ICD-9 coding standards.
- Prescribe medications and manage ongoing treatment regimens as necessary.
- Assist in the management of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) needs for patients.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field from an accredited program.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Valid state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant.
- Experience or knowledge in occupational health, home care, DME, hospital medicine, critical care, senior care, triage, and family planning is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in managing patient records and treatment plans.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards in patient care.
