Full Job Description

An established otolaryngology practice in the Wilmington, NC area is looking to add a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to their team. The role is primarily in the outpatient setting with a Monday thru Friday schedule offering excellent work-life balance. Candidates with direct otolaryngology experience are preferred, but the group is also open to training.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations related to otolaryngology conditions.
  • Assist in the diagnosis and management of ear, nose, and throat disorders
  • Perform minor procedures under the supervision of the otolaryngologist.
  • Collaborate with the otolaryngologist and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
  • Provide patient education regarding otolaryngology conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Current North Carolina state licensure and board certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
  • Prior experience in otolaryngology or a related specialty preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish rapport with patients and colleagues.

Pay: $100,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
