Full Job Description
We are a small private clinic in Oxnard focusing on hormonal treatments for testosterone, HRT and medical weight-loss. We are looking for a full-time PA to work alongside our NP. It would be a 9am-6pm shift.
Job Duties:
– Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and test results.
– Helping physicians with patient examinations
– Gives injections, treatments and occasional blood draws and IVs.
– Consultations with patients
– Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
– Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and laboratory staff.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a physician- Conduct physical examinations and take detailed medical histories- Prescribe medications and other treatments- Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and promote healthy lifestyle choices- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
Requirements:- Valid Physician Assistant license in the state of practice- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, systems, and procedures- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems (e.g., Epic)- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
