We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team at Ideal MD. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care under the supervision of our physicians. Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as X-rays, blood tests, and electrocardiograms.
- Administer medications and provide injections as prescribed by physicians.
- Assist in surgical procedures, including pre-operative and post-operative care.
- Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures, treatment plans, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in our electronic health records (EHR) system.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay current with medical advancements and best practices through continuous professional development.
- Adhere to all relevant medical laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- National certification from the NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants).
- State licensure as a Physician Assistant in good standing.
- Proven experience as a Physician Assistant, preferably in a primary care or specialty setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
