Full Job Description

Job OverviewRadiant Health Centers (RHC) seeks a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and delivering comprehensive medical services.

Physician Assistant will:

  • Provide direct clinic services as defined by agency’s protocols and treatment guidelines including medical histories and physicals.
  • Diagnose and/or treat acute health care problems such as illnesses, infections, or injuries.
  • Provide chronic illness management.
  • Provide family planning services such as contraception and laboratory examination.
  • Implement contraceptive regime based n clinical and social evaluation and on the patient’s choice method, including fitting diaphragms and inserting intrauterine devices.
  • Specimen collection, administration of treatments, performing point of care lab tests.
  • Prescribe and/or dispense medications, counsel patients about drug regimens, possible side-effects, or interactions with other substances.
  • Maintain complete and detailed records of patient’s health care plans and prognoses.
  • Educate patients about self-management of acute or chronic illnesses, tailoring instructions to patient’s individual circumstances. Provide after-care/ongoing care information and resources to patients and their families.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies.
  • Physician Assistant License.
  • Furnishing Number
  • CHDP Certified
  • HIV certification preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Knowledge of PrEP preferred.
  • Experience working and sensitivity towards the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer+ (LGBTQ+) population.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $145,000.00 – $160,000.00 per year
