Job Description
ProMed Staffing Resources is seeking several Physician Assistants with at least 2 years of NP experience and a Medicaid ID for full-time assignments in Monroe County, NY. This 1099 in-person position offers an 8-hour day shift schedule with possibility of working on Saturdays and a competitive pay rate of $100 per hour.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for reviewing and making recommendations on consumer assessments for long term care services and supports
2. Maintain current knowledge of regulatory changes pertaining to quality and validity of assessments
3. Assess cases presented and utilizes clinical competencies to review and validate assessment outcomes
4. Work collaboratively to monitor and address clinical quality and gaps in care
5. Provide clinical and educational assistance to support project initiatives 6. Demonstrate communication skills necessary to interpret age-specific responses
7. Participate in performance, improvement, and quality assurance activities and related meetings
Job Requirements
Master’s Degree from a Physician Assistant Program
NY State Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
Training in Internal Medicine, Adult Health, Community Health, Family Practice,
Two (2) or more years practicing experience as a Nurse Practitioner
AHA BLS and AHA ACLS Certifications
Current & Valid NY Driver License or State ID
