Position Overview:We are seeking a Rheumatology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a passion for rheumatology to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position, but we are open to part-time arrangements for the right candidate. If you have experience or an interest in managing complex rheumatologic conditions, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat patients with a variety of rheumatic diseases, including arthritis, lupus, and other autoimmune conditions.
- Collaborate with our team of rheumatologists, nurses, and support staff to provide comprehensive care.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, prescribe medications, and provide patient education.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Participate in patient care conferences and ongoing education to stay current with best practices in rheumatology.
Qualifications:
- Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) licensed in [State].
- 1 year of experience in rheumatology preferred, but not required – we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
