HOSPITAL
Mercy Health – West Hospital was newly constructed in 2013 and offers a wide range of services including a birthing center, cardiac cath lab, oncology, women’s health, orthopedic, and spine care. The state-of-the-art facility incorporates the latest developments in hospital design that have been proven to enhance the patient’s experience during a hospital visit.

- 250-bed, community-based, non-profit hospital
- Average Daily Encounters: 173
- Hospitalists run codes and rapid respond; Early or late physician responds to the page
- Open ICU (mandatory pulmonary consult)
- H1B visa eligible facility; access in-house visa specialists; all required filing fees for the visa are paid and filing services are covered
- Board-eligible or board-certified internal medicine or family medicine-trained physicians

- Must have 1 year of EM APP experience to be considered for this position
- Nocturnist position available
