Pro Med HealthCare Services is seeking Contract Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to do Employee Physicals as needed.
Location: Seattle, Washington
Job Type: Temporary – PRN/Per Diem
Pay Rate: $75 per hour
Overview: We are seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for a temporary assignment to conduct employee physicals for a well-known Cruise Line. This role is based out of the Port of Seattle, WA, ensuring the health and physical readiness of cruise ship staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical exams for Cruise Line employees.
- Review medical histories, perform physical assessments, and review lab results.
- Administer necessary vaccinations and health screenings.
- Ensure compliance with industry health standards and protocols.
- Maintain accurate medical records for all employees evaluated.
- Provide referrals for further medical evaluations if required.
Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in Washington State.
- Certification in Family Medicine, Occupational Health, or General Practice preferred.
- At least 1 years of clinical experience with physical exams and preventive care.
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred.
