Avera is currently seeking Physician Assistant (PA) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.
Job Summary
Assumes responsibility and accountability for the provision of primary health care and medical management of patients. Works with physician team to support overall action and provision of care.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant Program required.
CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS
- Graduate of an NLN accredited school of nursing or equivalent; graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program required.
- Licensure as a CNP and ability to practice in the state of Iowa.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Iowa and/or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure required.
- Federal and State DEA certification is required for Iowa if licensed in Iowa.
Work Schedule
- 8:00am-5:00pm, with wknd/hol/call rotation; 72hrs/2wks
