Physician Assistant (Primary Care)

Hillcroft Medical Clinic is seeking a full- time Physician Assistant for a multispecialty outpatient private practice in Sugar Land TX. HMC is a growing Clinic with 32 full time providers.

The ideal candidate will perform physical exams, evaluate clinical data, consult with our MDs, order appropriate tests, and help provide overall direction for the management of the patient’s care.

Qualifications:

· Minimum 2yr recent experience in Adult Primary Care required

· SPANISH (is a plus)

· Certified Physician Assistant (Required)

· Graduate of an accredited PA school

· DEA license with no restrictions

· Skilled in traditional PA disciplines of patient assessment and management

· Candidate must be able to read, write and speak English fluently, have cognitive skills for math, reading, filing and sterile technique skills

· Communication skills to deal with employees, patients, families and Physician/Medical Providers

· Starting base compensation is $90,000 + depending on experience.

Responsibilities

· Provides primary and episodic care to patients – independently and in collaboration with other medical professionals – following standards and protocols set by the Management Committee of HMC and Supervising Physician

· Follows regulations and guidelines for writing prescriptions

· Assure patient flow runs smoothly and efficiently

· Define/document differential diagnoses and list differential diagnoses with most likely diagnoses included

· Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as deemed necessary and appropriate for plan of care, in collaboration with supervising physician as indicated

· Maintains quality, safety, and infection control standards

Hillcroft Medical Clinic:

Hillcroft Medical Clinic (HMC) is a fully independent multi-specialty clinic that is physician managed. HMC has state of the art EMR, lab and radiology equipment. On site specialists include Gastroenterology, Cardiology, General and Bariatric Surgery, OB/Gyn, Nephrology, Neurology, Pulmonary, Endocrine/Diabetes, Orthopedics, and Geriatrics. We are 32 physicians’ strong group and now are in need of a PCP to absorb overflow business. Depending on expense management, style of practice, and amount of daily appointment slots, the income potential is above market norms.

Essential Functions:

• Provides preventive and acute health care to patients,
• Conducts histories and physical examinations, prescribes medications and medical treatments based on best practice standards,
• Develops treatment plans,
• Make referrals to appropriate medical resource or specialties,
• Evaluates the effectiveness of medical care and monitors progress of patients,
• Maintain medical records using eCW EMR.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $120,000.00 per year
