Full Job Description
Looking for a physician assistant or a nurse practitioner for an endocrinology privately owned small practice in North Scottsdale.
- Office is open to see patients Tuesday to Friday.
- Full time or Part time is negotiable, Full Time is preferred.
- Candidate should be able to provide patient services to adults in the field of endocrinology only.
- Candidate should be able to perform patient assessments, diagnosis & treatment plans, perform physical examinations, consultations, patient counseling/education as well as ordering and interpreting test results and sending prescriptions
- Types of patient care: Diabetes, Thyroid, Osteo, Hormones, Abnormal labs, Weight loss.
Education and Licensure:
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant educational program and passage of board-approved certifying exam.
- Must possess a license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Arizona.
- Must possess a DEA license .
Experience:
- At least 1-2 year’s of experience working as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, preferably in internal medicine, family practice or endocrinology.
- Endocrinology Experience a plus.
- ECW-EMR experience. We use EclinicalWorks (ECW) .
