Pediatric Nurse Practitioner CPNP/Physician assistant- Full time

Our office is currently seeking a Full time Pediatric NP/PAto join our healthcare team in San Antonio. We are looking for a Pediatric NP/PA committed to providing compassionate care. As a member of our team, you will thrive in a smaller organization that offers great growth potential.

The Nurse Practitioner/PA Responsibilities:

  • Identify changes in a child’s signs and symptoms and intervene in emergent situations.
  • Position will provide direct patient care through patient assessment, follow up examinations, diagnostic assessments, including ordering procedures and monitoring medications.
  • Well checks from Newborn to age 18 years. Sick visits. Developmental screening and mental health screenings.
  • Using age-appropriate guidelines
  • Will order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests/evaluations relative to patient’s age-specific needs as well as implement and monitor interventions

Nurse Practitioner/PA Qualifications:

  • Must be Highly motivated and organized and also possess excellent communication skills
  • Maintain privacy and confidentiality in nurse practitioner/child relations.
  • More importantly, a potential candidate should serve as the child’s advocate and provide the complete, empathetic care they deserve.
  • Current Texas license and certification
  • Graduate of an accredited NP program
  • Able to simultaneously manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to exercise high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making
  • Bilingual with Spanish speaking ability is a preferred qualification
