We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant (Mid-Level) to join our growing Dermatology practice and deliver high-quality patient care, demonstrating clinical expertise, compassion, and our “patient-first” mindset in a fast-paced medical environment.

Duties:
Under Physician supervision, mid-levels will provide medical care to patients. Mid-levels will practice as licensed Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants and will exercise independent judgment of the assessment, diagnosis, and initiation of treatment protocols. They will collaborate and communicate with the overseeing provider to ensure quality care is given to all patients. Mid-levels will order and prescribe medications, study diagnostic test results, propose treatment plans, and educate the patient and family members on diagnosis and treatment. Mid-levels will maintain accurate patient records and charting. They will promote good health practices and support disease prevention.
Essential Functions
· Greets and communicates with patients and significant others in a manner consistent with caring and respect. Communicates, collaborates, and anticipates the needs of the other members of the health care team to ensure continuity and quality of care and coordination of services
· Performs patient exams and maintains patient medical records
· Proposes treatment plans for patients
· Orders diagnostic tests and prescribes medication
· Educates patients and family members on diagnosis and treatment plans
· Consults with overseeing provider and works under the supervision of the physician
· Provides patient care that is culturally sensitive and preserves patient autonomy and rights
· Practices in compliance to Michigan Public Health Code and follows the organization’s core values

Qualifications– Must be a current licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant
– 3-5 years of experience required; Dermatology or a related field highly preferred- Experience in patient assessment and treatment planning- Proficiency in coding and documentation practices- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment- Ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism- Commitment to providing compassionate care to all patients
