Schedule
Full time (40 hours per week), Monday through Friday, daytime hours, 8- or 10-hour shifts
Responsibilities
Exciting opportunity to join the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in an ambulatory setting, providing comprehensive care to patients with a focus on gastrointestinal and liver diseases. This role includes the evaluation and management of both acute and chronic conditions, conducting new and follow-up patient visits, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and prescribing medications. Key responsibilities also include patient education and coordinating care services, ensuring a high standard of care across the continuum.
We are seeking candidates who enjoy working in a collaborative, team-based environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to make autonomous decisions in complex case management are essential. Will consider motivated new NP/PA graduates.

Qualifications
Nurse Practitioner
Require a Master’s degree (or pending) as a Nurse Practitioner, an active New York State Registered Nurse license in good standing, an active/pending New York State Nurse Practitioner licensure in good standing and current/pending national certification as an Nurse Practitioner.
Physician Assistant
Requires completion (or pending) of an ARC-PA approved Physician Assistant program, an active/pending New York State Physician Assistant licensure in good standing and current/pending national certification as a Physician Assistant by the NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants)
NPs and PAs will demonstrate clinical competence, superior verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal effectiveness and customer relations skills, computer competence and must have an active desire to learn. The APP will participate in the education of learners (students and new employees), using clinical learning experiences, knowledge sharing and skill training.

Pay Range
Pay Range: $47.12 – $65.97 Hourly
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
