Job summary details:
We are seeking a well-skilled, outgoing, personable, highly productive provider. The newest member to our team will aid in our rapidly growing, fun, and family oriented Urgent Care as we provide the absolute best medical care in Urgent Care Services in Cleveland, OH.
Responsibilities:
- Orders evidence-based testing, prescribes medications and refers to outside specialist as required
- Provides occupational medicine services, including DOT exams and the treatment of Worker’s Compensation injuries
- Performs pre-participation physicals for camps, sports and employment
- Utilizes telemedicine platform to evaluate and treat patients off-site in addition to providing in person care
- Provides an authenticated report of all services rendered and maintains accurate and complete records in an acceptable manner.
- Completes necessary documentation and ensures communication to facilitate patient care and appropriate reimbursement
- Maintains patient charts accurately and comprehensively
- Must be self-directed / self-motivated; must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to see high volume of patients.
- Experienced with pediatric patients and procedures.
- Work independently
- Convey empathy and compassion to those experiencing pain, physical or emotional distress and/or grief.
- Relate to others in a manner which creates a sense of teamwork and cooperation.
- Communicate effectively with people from every socioeconomic, cultural and educational background.
- Participates in activities that enhance professional development, complete and maintain certification in BLS or ACLS (ATLS, PALS, or NALS optional) and maintains any additional specialty training/certifications as required by the area assigned.
Qualifications:
- At least one year clinical experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or Family Practice.
- Current Ohio license, Must be willing to obtain DOT certification within 90 days, Current DEA.
License/Certification:
- Physician Assistant License
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $105,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
