Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, working closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals.
Duties– Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed- Educate patients on heart disease prevention and management- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care- Monitor patients during procedures and treatments- Provide support and guidance to patients and their families
Experience– Possess Basic Life Support certification- Knowledge of medication administration protocols- Familiarity with cardiology procedures such as inhalation therapy and dialysis- Experience working with geriatric cardiovascular conditions- Strong understanding of physiology, particularly related to cardiology
Qualifications- Strong background in cardiology with a focus on patient care and assessment- Proficiency in catheterization, IV insertion, and medication administration- Experience working with geriatric patients and individuals with cardiac conditions- BLS Certification and familiarity with EMR and EHR systems- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and adapt to various clinical settings
Pay: $50.00 – $80.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
