Overview :Hoag Health, Orange County’s top ranked healthcare system is seeking a full time, Physician Assistant to join our Vascular Surgery program. Excellent opportunity to join a growing program in beautiful Orange County, CA!
Highlights:
– Full time position
-Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
– Outpatient role with occasional inpatient duties including rounding and first assist support

-Experienced providers including 2 vascular surgeons and seasoned support staff
Duties :- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.- Administer medications and perform procedures such as phlebotomy and dermabrasion.- Provide health coaching to patients, educating them on lifestyle changes and wellness strategies.- Suturing, closing, retracting. Sclerotherapy experience preferred but not required- Participate in discharge planning for patients leaving the hospital, ensuring continuity of care.- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation, including medical coding for billing purposes.
Requirements:– Active CA Physician Assistant License in good standing- Graduate from an accredited PA program- Vascular and /or surgical experience highly preferred but not required- Experience with Epic EMR preferred- Experience working in a hospital setting is preferred.- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education.
