This job is Dual Posted with Physician Assistant – Quick Care (Job ID 53428) and is only hiring for one position.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner for an exciting opportunity at Mizzou Quick Care Clinics in the Columbia, MO area. This role allows you to work independently while being supported by the University of Missouri Health Care (UMHC) Department of Family & Community Medicine.

Position Highlights:

  • Work Environment: Staff a busy acute care clinic located within a retail grocery store.
  • Patient Care: Conduct physical assessments, perform and interpret diagnostic tests, treat common conditions, and prescribe medications for patients aged 24 months and older.
  • Technology: Benefit from fully integrated medical records and paperless e-prescribing systems.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in Nursing is required. Certified Nurse Practitioner with current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license to practice in the state of Missouri. Missouri RN license is also required. Must be licensed to treat infant to geriatric populations.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of two years of experience desired.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Hiring Range: $90,251 – $102,000

Grade:PAT-012

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met with or without reasonable accommodation. The performance of these physical demands is an essential function of the job. This position is very active and requires ambulating, reaching, and moving objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs. This role also routinely comes into contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses. This position is in a health care facility open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Rotating shifts as well as holiday and work during inclement weather will be required.
