Full Job Description
We are adding WEEKEND/PRN providers to our team! As a full service urgent care center we are seeking midlevel practitioners with significant prior urgent care or emergency room experience. Our clinic is in a great community and we are looking for someone to help us to continue to grow the business and add value to the team and culture. We have a high focus on quality of care and patient experience so applicants must have excellent bedside/webside manner.
Shifts are Saturday, 8am-8pm and Sun 12p-8p with possibility of an occasional weekday shift Monday-Friday 8am-8pm.
Responsibilities:
– Provide exceptional service and/or care to all patients, customers and team members.
– Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of Physician.
– Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient’s clinical problems and health care needs.
– Perform procedures including but not limited to laceration repair, abscess incision and drainage, etc.
– Develop and execute treatment plans for acute illness and injury
– Manage IV’s as necessary
– Records physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient’s condition.
– Discusses case with Physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan.
– Collaborates with supervising physician in the treatment and plan of care of patients according to parameters defined by the collaborating physician.
– Timely documents services provided to patients, signs and dates orders, use EMR efficiently, and maintain the patient’s medical record accurately and timely.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $75.00 per hour

Experience:
- Urgent Care: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- PA-C (Preferred)
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner (Preferred)
