Valley Urgent Care is seeking for a dedicated, friendly, experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Team! We are an Independent Urgent Care, a small team environment. Tired of corporate politics and red tape?

For this position we require to have at least one year of Family Medicine, Urgent Care or Emergency room experience with excellent clinical, customer service skills, and bedside manners. This position is an independent contractor (1099) and part-time only. The ideal candidate should have the following:
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Familiarity with medical tools and equipment
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Minimal two years of Family Medicine, Urgent Care or Emergency Room experience
- 1-2 years of minor procedures such as suturing and or/suture removal, toenail removals, I&D’s, removal of foreign objects
License/Certification:
- Active license to practice in the state of CA (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)
- Active DEA license
Responsibilities:
- Ability to perform medical procedures
- Assess patient health through interviews and physical examinations
- Provide counsel and medical treatment to patients
- Educate patients on overall wellness and health maintenance
- Develop and implement patient management plans
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Excellent bedside manners and inviting personality
- Work efficiently through patient flow
- Discharge patients in a timely manner

Available shifts
We are looking for someone who is available 1-2 Tuesday’s/all Friday’s/ 1-2 Saturday’s per month.
(1-2) 10-11 hour shifts during the week
(1-2) 5-6 hour shifts (Saturday) monthly
