ENT Specialties, P.C., the largest Otolaryngology practice in Lincoln, NE, staffed with 7 physicians and 3 PAs, is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our team. This position is clinic-based, providing comprehensive ENT care to patients of all ages.
About the Role
As a Physician Assistant in our clinic, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, managing various ENT-related conditions and performing minor in-office procedures. The role includes post-operative checks, new patient evaluations, follow-up visits, and more. You will also have call responsibilities, including one evening of after-hour phone calls per week and rotating Friday afternoons. Enjoy a balanced work-life schedule with no weekends or holidays required.
Key Responsibilities
- See and manage clinic patients in the office
- Conduct post-operative checks, new patient evaluations, and follow-up visits
- Perform cerumen removal, removal of foreign bodies from ear/nose, nasal endoscopy, control of epistaxis, post-op sinus debridement, I&D of abscess, management of auricular hematoma, removal of drains and sutures, etc.
- Answer patient phone calls and contact patients with results
- Provide patient education and support
- Complete charts in a timely fashion
- Handle billing and coding for charts
- Take one evening of after-hour phone calls per week
- Participate in rotating Friday afternoon call
Requirements:
Qualifications
- Valid Physician Assistant license in Nebraska
- Experience in ENT or related fields is preferred but not required
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to perform minor procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to patient care and continuous learning
